The next NSW election will be held on Saturday 13 March 2027. The date has been brought forward by two weeks from the fixed term date specified in the Constitution to avoid a clash with Easter.
Under NSW Electoral Law, a party must be registered 12 months in advance of an election to have party names printed on ballot papers and to use central nomination of candidates. This registration date has been passed and there are 20 parties registered to contest the election.
Rather than list them in alphabetic order, I’ll list them in descending order of me knowing them from previous elections.
